Somewhere between deep bass, soulful lyrics and beautiful fragility.

The rising newcomer Marli creates a distinctive atmosphere with her music, elegantly blending modern RnB, Soul, and Pop. Her soft yet powerful vocals, combined with detailed, atmospheric sound design, give her songs both depth and intensity. Cool guitar sounds and deep basslines meet personal lyrics, forming a unique sonic experience.

In summer 2025, the artist released her first EP „reflections : projections“, realizing her first larger body of work. With her single „Siren Sighs“ (2025) – which recently approached 30k streams – Marli explores the genres of Afro Beats and Afro Pop, further reflecting the growing attention she is steadily receiving within the industry.

Building on several live performances over the past years, Marli is now taking the next big step onto larger stages: this April, she joined rising US Star Izzy Escobar’s first tour, playing support in Cologne and Berlin, marking an exciting new chapter in her musical journey.

Marli sees music as a multidimensional art form and skillfully brings her artistic visions to life both sonically and visually. Her emotional depth and charismatic stage presence make her a rising artist with the potential to captivate audiences far beyond German borders.

Marli is currently based in Berlin, Germany.

As a newcomer musician you get so many opinions by As a newcomer musician you get so many opinions by random people about what you should or shouldn’t do. And honestly, I really don’t care anymore. I do what feels right and I think that’s the way for me to succeed 💫

Going viral can of course give you a big push. But you cannot plan virality and often it doesn’t help you build a sustainable career long term.

Artists like @raye & @rosalia.vt are proof that the opposite is true. People DO want to hear different things, the DO want their brains get tickled by different sounds, melodies, influences, beats. And this is giving me a lot of hope 🫶🏼

Building a career in music takes time. A lot of artists make music for years before breaking through. Also, age doesn’t matter if people can connect to you and your art.

Of course, making music that is more „tiktokable“ cause it’s fast-paced and easy to consume might be easier to promote on social media. But that shouldn’t define what music you make. We sometimes forget that even though social media is important, it’s not the only way to promote your music.

This is just straight up bullshit. Stop saying this to people.

Sustainably building a career is way more effective than having fast but short-lived success. Having true and loyal fans is what brings you money, cause they are the people that come to your concert, buy your merch and truly support you. Don’t let yourself be blinded by big numbers, they’re not necessarily what helps you build your career.

Mainstream is not always the goal. You can build a very successful career with art that is more niche. It’s not everyone’s goal to reach the big mass.

People talk a lot and everyone thinks they know it best. But they don’t. Trust your instincts and do what makes you happy ❤️
